Now Arkham City goes 3D

GAMESCOM:As if the hype for Warner’s Batman: Arkham Asylum wasn’t enough, the publisher has now confirmed that the game will ship with both stereoscopic and anaglyphic 3D functionality.

All three of the game’s SKUs – Xbox 360, PS3 and PC – will support the technology. To use the 3D gamers will need either a 3DTV or an HDTV and a pair of compatible glasses.

It’s not the first time the Dark Knight has dabbled in 3D gaming. DLC for the first game offered limited 3D functionality on a normal TV or monitor using the included cardboard glasses.

Yesterday Microsoft announced that Gears of War 3 will also support stereoscopic 3D.
