Press accreditation now open for Gamescom 2016

Gamescom organiser Koelnmessehas opened press accreditation for this year’s show.

This will be open online until two weeks before the event starts on Wednesday, August 17th. More information can be found here.

Signing up as a member of the press grants you a press ticket for the Cologne trade show, as well as a parking permit.

Koelnmessesays that it is not possible to deal with individual queries. The firm also notes that all accreditations need to be applied for individually.

Furthermore, press accreditation is solely granted for the purpose of ‘journalist reporting’. Online media and youth/school press is also not possible on site due to the extent of checks involved.

When it comes to YouTubers, Koelnmesseworks with some of the larger YouTube networks.
