VIDEO: Monolith Soft’s X now called Xenoblade Chronicles X

Nintendo has revealed that Monolith Soft’s Wii U title X is now called Xenoblade Chronicles X.

The game has been under the name X since it was first announced in January 2013 as part of a Nintendo Direct.

The open world RPG title sees mankind caught in the middle of an intergalactic war that destroys Earth.

Director Tetsuya Takahashi previously said that he is aiming to make the biggest possible world on Wii U for the game.

Last E3 the game was set for a 2014 release date – Xenoblade Chronicles X is now coming out in 2015 for Wii U.
