More than $590 million will be wagered on esports competitions through cash gambling sites in 2016 with 93% of the wagering taking place through esportsbook betting, which is akin to traditional sports betting. It is similar to wagering on the outcome of a match between two professional sports teams, except that bets are made by people predicting the outcome of esports (competitive video game) matches.

Conference programming runs Wednesday through Friday, featuring 38 sessions from more than 40 speakers across three daily themes: "Craft and Culture" (Wed), "Building for the Future" (Thu), and "Humanity Through Games" (Fri).
