Ex-Beatle Paul McCartney penning video game soundtrack

None other than former Beatle Sir Paul McCartney has said that he has agreed to pen music for an as-of-yet unknown video game.

"It’s a fascinating market,” the popular lyricist stated, according to The Express. A new computer game sells so much better than a newCDthese days. Young people will hear my music for the first time in a game."

The identity of the game, or indeed the developer of publisher behind it, remains a mystery.

It’s not the first time Sir Paul has dabbled in gaming, of course, He and fellow Beatles poplet Ringo Starr took to the E3 2009 stage to unveil EA’s The Beatles: Rock Band.
