Ex-Lionhead developers unveil ‘The Sexy Brutale’

A new indie studio formed by former Lionhead developers have teamed up with Tequila Works to create a unique console game.

Tom Lansdale and brothers Charles and James Griffiths have formed Cavalier Games to create The Sexy Brutale, a puzzle adventure game where the hero must join a never-ending masked ball and try and save the guests from the event’s staff.

It is due for release in Q1 2017 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One and is co-developed with Spanish studio Tequila Works (the team behind Rime).

When Cavalier asked for our feedback on their build of The Sexy Brutale, I immediately knew we had to be part of it,” said CEO of Tequila Works, Ral Rubio.
