Fable HD Remake and Fable IV seemingly incoming

Lionhead’s Fable series seems to be on the brink of a front-bench return.

First off, we’ve had as good as a confirmation that an HD remake of 2004 title Fable is on the way to Xbox 360.

A teaser trailer – embedded below – starts will apparent messages from supposed fans asking when as HD remake of the game will be released. It ends with an Xbox 360 logo.

Secondly, and perhaps more excitingly, Lionhead yesterday launched a new Fable forum on its website.

Two and a half years on from Fable III and months ahead of the Xbox One launch, Fable IV would make all sorts of sense. Indeed, the game has been rumoured on and off for months now and is a pretty safe bet to feature in Microsoft’s E3 presentation.
