Fallout 4 mods for PlayStation 4 delayed

Sony gamers looking forward to the addition of mods to Fallout 4 are going to disappointed.

Publisher Bethesda has announced via Twitter (below) that the beta for Fallout 4 mods on PS4 has been delayed. No reason was given for pushing back this release, but the firm says it will keep us updated.

Fallout 4 mod support was penned for a June release. Support of mods and Fallout 4 creation kit tools launched on Xbox One and PC earlier in the year.

It is reported that the delay is due to limitations Sony has placed on the size of mods. The PlayStation firm has capped mods at just 900MB, compared with the 2GB afforded by Microsoft.

Console mods for Fallout 4 were one of many announcements made on Microsoft’s stage at E3 2015.
