Fallout 4 was retail’s Game of the Year

Bethesda’s Fallout 4 was UK games retail’s favourite release this year.

The title was voted for by a whopping 62 per cent of stores, with managers citing the title’s initial strong sales, cult following and critical acclaim.

That game was 52 per cent ahead of second place, the equally-anticipated and critically acclaimed RPG The Witcher III: Wild Hunt from CD Projekt RED.

These results come from MCV’s Annual Retail Survey 2015, which can be read online here.
