FIFA 14 is the UK No.1 for the 7th time

EA’s FIFA 14 has claimed its fourth successive No.1 and its seventh overall in this week’s UKIE GfK Chart-Track All Formats Top 40.

There are big weekly sales drops for nearly all games in the Top Ten with the exception of Sony’s PS4 shooter Killzone: Shadow Fall, which climbs 13 places to eighth following a 63 per cent climb in sales.

Call of Duty: Ghosts is this week’s No.2 (-41%), Battlefield 4 finishes in third (-48%), Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag in fourth (-52%) and Grand Theft Auto V at No.5.

A new average sales price of below 5 helps Sega’s Aliens: Colonial Marines jump five places to 10th, too.

A number of other price promotions help a handful of older titles re-enter the listings, too, including Dead Island: Riptide (16th, +76%), Grid 2 (29th, +72%) and Gears of War: Judgement (30th, +310%).
