After getting back to the top last week thanks to impressive sales on the Switch, FIFA 18 managed to keep its No.1 position in the UK charts this week. It’s the sixth No.1 for EA’s football hit and sales were only down 59 per cent week-on-week.
GTA V climbed one spot to No.2 despite sales being down 33 per cent, while Call of Duty: WWII gained five places to No.3, thanks to a three per cent growth in sales week-on-week.
Meanwhile, Konami’s first foray in the Metal Gear franchise without Hideo Kojima had to settle for No.6. Metal Gear Survive’s physical Week One sales were massively under the series’ standards, though it’s likely the title’s digital performance was a bit better. However, the title didn’t make it to Steam’s weekly Top Ten.
Having debuted at No.2 last week, Kingdom Come: Deliverance fell to No.12 with a 80 per cent drop in sales week-on-week.
The other new entry in this week’s charts was Bandai Namco’s Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet, which debuted at No.37.
Uncharted 2 and Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune re-entered the charts respectively at No.34 and No.36 due to retail promotion.
