First UK Games Fund recipients include FuturLab, Spilt Milk and Secret Police

The first 24 companies to receive money from the UK Government’s Games Fund have been announced.

Running until 2019, the fund provides grants of up to 50,000 to back games projects, encourage the creation of jobs and support up-and-coming devs with a number of talent development initatives.

It was originally launched in October 2015, with a 4 million investment from the Government.
