Free Gamescom flights last chance

The organisers of Gamescom in Cologne have confirmed that a handful of places remain from its offer to fly 100 UK retailers over to the event in August.

The original deadline for the deal was May 14th but Koelnmesse has decided to extend the offer to fill up the few remaining flights. It will now expire on June 11th 2010.

Last year it was difficult to convince companies to make important announcements at Gamescom, but Sony chose our show to officially reveal the PS3 Slim,” BIU CEO Olaf Wolters told MCV earlier this month.

We want to make it easier for internationals to come to Germany. Everything has come true since we planned the switch from Leipzig to Cologne, the plan to make travel as easy as possible for everyone has worked and we can move on from the problems back in Leipzig.

It’s really easy to travel to Cologne, and really easy to get to Gamescom.”

Gamescom takes place from August 18th to August 22nd. Sign up for the free flights offer here.
