Gaikai partners with Ubisoft, Best Buy

Cloud gaming company Gaikai is now providing its demo service to Ubisoft and Best Buy following deals with YouTube, EA and more.

The streaming service allows internet users to play games online through their internet browsers without the need for installation or high-end graphics cards.

Gaikai now runs this service on a range of other partner websites including Eurogamer’s, Capcom’s and Sega’s, reports Gamasutra. In October last year Gaikai hosted the FIFA 12 demo on YouTube.

Gaikai CEO David Perry previously said he wants to reach 100m users this year. In 2011 the company raised $30m in funding to grow its business.
