GAME and Nintendo on the hunt for UK’s best Pokemon player

The Nintendo Pokemon X and Pokemon Y Battle Tournament 2014 has been officially announced.

It kicks off on March 1st and takes place at a number of UK shopping centres – beginning in Birmingham’s Bullring and at GAME Brighton.

The winners of both Expert (13 years and over) and Junior (12 and under) categories will win fast-track entry into the Pokemon UK Video Game Championships.

Also up for grabs for Experts is a week-long trip to Japan to visit the Pokemon Centre and take a tour of Tokyo. Juniors can win a weekend trip to Alton Towers.

There’s also an Ultimate Team competition for teams comprising two family members, with a 250 Nintendo Store voucher up for grabs and tickets to EGX in London later this year.
