GAME appoints new non-exec director

Video games retail specialist GAME has announced the appointment of David Mansfield as a non-executive director. He will join the board in April.

Mansfield is currently chairman of Radio Joint Audience Research and a director at Ingenious Media. He has previously served stints at Capital Radio.

The video games and interactive entertainment market is extremely dynamic and I’m delighted to be joining GAME Group at such an important time in the company’s development,” Mansfield said of the appointment.

GAME chairman Peter Lewis added: We are delighted to welcome David Mansfield to our board as a non executive director. He is highly respected for his proven experience on boards of evolving entertainment and communications businesses.

His in-depth knowledge and insight into customer behaviours, coupled with his passion for the entertainment industries, will bring complementary skills to the board.”

In addition, it has been confirmed that board member Dennis Woodside stood down on January 31st.
