GAME exec joins ShopTo

MCV Awards winner ShopTo has recruited Alison Fraser as its new senior buyer.

Fraser is a GAME and Gamestation exec of ten years, and she most recently held the position of key account manager, handling publishers such as Ubisoft, Take-Two, Warner Bros, Sega and THQ.

The new appointment comes as part of ShopTo’s aggressive growth plans, which included the recent acquisition of movie streaming service, FetchTV.

Ali is very well known and respected in the games industry,” said purchasing director James Rowson.

She has extensive retail experience that will be invaluable as we look to drive the growth for ShopTo and challenge the major competitors in the entertainment retail sector.

Ali will be a great addition to the team as we look to maximise operational efficiencies, brand awareness and product development.”

Fraser added: I am delighted to have joined ShopTo and I’m excited about the opportunities to share my expertise. ShopTo has seen dramatic growth in the past twelve months and I am thrilled that I can be part of its future expansion.

I look forward to working with an enthusiastic team to strategically enhance product offerings and optimise sales.”
