GAME halts Xbox One Day One Edition pre-orders

UK video games retailer GAME has stopped accepting pre-orders for the Day One Edition of the Xbox One.

Unfortunately, we have now reached our limit for Xbox One Day One Edition console pre-orders,” an update on GAME’s website reads. The standard edition console is still available to order, although we can no longer guarantee you will receive yours on launch day.

As soon as we can confirm when the standard edition is available we’ll let you all know.”

Online retailer ShopTo has also emailed its customer base warning that it now has limited quantities remaining of the Day One bundle.

Several retailers stopped guaranteeing launch day deliveries of the PS4 earlier this month.

Sony’s machine will arrive in the UK on November 29th. Microsoft has yet to announce a release date for Xbox One.
