GAME pre-orders get Gears 3 beta access

Microsoft has announced that gamers can gain access to the upcoming beta for Gears of War 3 by pre-ordering from GAME Group stores.

Anyone that orders the game from GAME or Gamestation will be able to try out the multiplayer when its trial begins on April 25th. The beta will give fans a taste of three different modes and four maps and runs until May 15th.

Players that take part in the beta will even be able to unlock exclusive content that can be used in the full game when it arrives on September 20th, including a Beta tester medal and a gold-plated Retro Lancer.

The multiplayer beta will also be accessible to owners of the Bulletstorm: Epic Edition for one week only, between April 18th and April 24th.
