GAME reveals 3DS Play/Trade deal

Having cut over 20 off the online price of the 3DS just this morning, MCV can reveal that GAME has now upped the ante by revealing an amazing trade-in offer for the device.

Gamers who buy the device for 196.99 from GAME’s website will now have the chance to trade the handheld back for 190. They can claim this guaranteed price as long as they do so by April 25th – one month after purchase.

Order must be placed online. Those wishing to take advantage must keep hold of their packing receipt and return the machine to any GAME store to claim their credit.

Those wishing to trade for cash will receive 180, meaning a net monthly cost of just 20.

GAME’s Play Now / Trade Later offer hit the headlines earlier this month when punters were able to buy Atari’s Test Drive Unlimited for 39.99 and receive a guaranteed buy back price of 34.99.

UPDATE: Following confirmation from GAME, the cash offer amount has been amended from 176.99 to 180.
