Games Media Awards – have you got your ticket yet?

Just eight days remain until we discover the winners of the Games Media Awards 2014.

And only a handful of tickets remain for the event, due to take place on October 15th at the revamped Bloomsbury Ballroom.

Over 250 people are expected to attend, with over 150 of them from national press, specialist outlets and media further afield.This year the award categories have been overhauled, as has the judging and entry process.

Last Monday the finalistsfor the ten award categories were revealed – eight of which have been voted for by panels of games journalists and their peers in the games business, accompanied by two special awards which will be voted for by consumers and event attendees respectively.

There are over 60 different writers, media outlets (including podcast brands and video channels) vying for prizes.

Comedian Holly Walshhas been confirmed as host for the event.
