Games to feature in Junior Design Awards 2012

This year’s Junior Design Awards 2012 will for the first time recognise video games and their importance in the lives of families and children.

Three new categories are debuting in the 2012 event – Best Console/Handheld Game, Best Family Video Game and Best Children’s App.

Judges will be selecting the winners based on innovation, ease of use and age appropriateness, as well as overall quality.

The annual event, which celebrates child-orientated product design, is hosted by monthly magazine Junior.

Winning a Junior Design Award provides recognition that your product is a leader in its category, enabling you to connect with discerning parents,” the event’s official blurb reads.

All winners and finalists will be featured in our special Collector’s Edition of Junior, and all entrants will be featured on Junior online as part of our Design Awards channel. Winners and finalists will also be able to use specially produced Junior Design Awards logos.”

The closing date for nominations is February 1st. Entry packs can be found here.
