GamesAid announces Darts Evening

GamesAid will host its first ever charity Darts Evening next month.

The organisation is inviting games industry professionals to step up to the oche on Wednesday, March 9th for a doubles competition – and if you don’t have a teammate, single entrants will be paired up on the night.

The idea is for everyone to have a bit of fun, so experience or skill is definitely not a pre-requisite,” said GamesAid chairperson Andy Payne. We encourage you to come in appropriate darting attire, so the more ill-fitting polyster the better.

The first stages will be on a round robin format so that everyone gets a good old go and will not be limited to just one game each.”

Participants are also asked to choose some walk-on music for the competition and bring it along on the evening so it can be played every time they make an entrance. To enter, please contact David Walker.

The cost of entry is 20 per person. These donations can be made in advance at www.justigiving.com/Graeme-Shearer0.

The GamesAid Darts Evening will take place at 6.30pm at The Horseshoe, 24 Clerkenwell Close, London, EC1R 0AG.
