Gamescom 2016 advance day tickets sold out

Koelnmesse has announced that its advance private tickets for this year’s Gamescom have sold out in record time.

The firm has revealed that no more day tickets for consumers are available for consumers ahead of time, just three weeks before Gamescom 2016 takes place.

However, gamers looking to attend the Cologne trade show can buy tickets on the day from the on-site box office.

Tickets for trade visitors are still available to purchase.

This year’s Gamescom takes place between August 18th and 21st. Koelnmesse revealed earlier in the year that ticket registrations were 60 per cent higher than 2015’sdx.

Furthermore,Microsoft will not be holding a press conference at this year’s show; rather, the platform holder is holding its own Xbox FanFest event.
