Gamescom 2016 early bird ticket price ends March 31st

Those planning on attending this year’s Gamescom have until Thursday, March 31st to secure their tickets at the early bird rate.

Until then, attendees will be able to purchase tickets to the show at a ‘more than ten per cent’ discount.

Show organiser Koelnmesse says that ticket purchases are limited to five tickets per day per person.

In addition to the early bird tickets, Koelnmesse is selling pre-entry tickets for the consumer days on the Thursday and Friday, allowing gamers entry one hour early.

This year’s Gamescom takes place between August 17th and 21st.

Gamescom’s ticket store opened on March 2nd and since then registrations for the show have been 60 per cent higher than those in 2015. Koelnmesse also notes that 33 countries have registered for the event.

Gamescom 2015 attracted 806 exhibitors from 45 countries in a newly expanded 193,000 square metre area. 345,000 visitors attended the event, including 33,500 trade visitors from 96 countries.
