Gamescom welcomes global industry

The premier European games consumer and trade show is finally here, and MCV is on hand to provide you with the essential information you’ll need to survive the five-day video game extravaganza.

Though the exhibition itself doesn’t open its doors until tomorrow, this afternoon brings two key Gamescom events – EA’s press conference (15:30 BST) and Sony’s hugely anticipated presentation (17:30 BST).

And unless you’ve been stranded on a desert island for the last week, you’ll know that Sony’s talk is one not to be missed. MCV will be providing live coverage as it happens.

MCV has all the information you need as well as details on all the key exhibitors – including 1C, Activision, Bethesda, BigBen, Blaze, Capcom, Creative Distribution, EA, Focus, Game Outlet, Koch, IQ, Localsoft, Logic 3, Microsoft, Milestone, MPO, NCsoft, Namco, Nintendo, Nordic Games, OPM, Sega, Sitel, Sony, SouthPeak, Square Enix, Sunflex, Take Two, Techexcel, Testronic, Ubisoft and Warner.
