Gamestation gears up for major store opening

Beaten in size only by Gamestation’s megastore in Birmingham, it boasts 4,300 square feet of specialist retail space, and will open its doors for the first time on Friday (19/10/07).

Hull has some of the most dedicated gamers in Britain, as we’ve discovered at our old store on Prospect Street, so it seems only sensible to open a bigger and better gaming outlet that can truly cater for their needs,” said Jon Brook, head of marketing at Gamestation.

The specialist retailer has also lined up guest appearances from Hull KR and Hull City aloingside gaming’s most famous characters – the likes of Sonic, Mario and Master Chief. There will also be a range of opening weekend deals for eager consumers.

We have high hopes for the new Gamestation Hull, building on its strong success to date,” said store manager Marcos Dinsdale. This new store will maintain our positioning as the destination for true gamers.”
