GameStop Expo to offer hands-on with Xbox One and PS4

The Xbox One and PS4 will both be playable at upcoming American consumer event GameStop Expo.

The event, which is open to members of the retailer’s PowerUp Rewards customer loyalty scheme, takes place on August 28th in Las Vegas. That’s a good three months before the Xbox One and (presumably) PS4 will hit retail shelves.

GameStop is encouraging its member to fork out $90 for VIP tickets that entitle them to exclusive Q&A sessions in which they can pose questions about the consoles to panellists from Microsoft and Sony”. Also included is early show-floor access, a VIP longue, the chance to enter tournaments and a goodie bag – which amongst other things will have a copy of Madden 25 for Xbox 360.

Regular entry costs $35. Student discounts are also available. Customers are able to pay for tickets using their GameStop credit should they so choose.
