Gamestop readies 3,000 US stores for Black Friday midnight kickoff

Gamestop is coordinating a midnight opening for over 3,000 US locations this Friday.

The video game retail giant announced a 12:01 a.m. kickoff for the selected stores, with other locations set to open doors at 5:00 a.m.

Stores will be offering deals throughout the extended weekend, including on Xbox 360 bundles with Skyrim, Forza Motorsport 4, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 for $250. Polygon reports a PlayStation 3 bundle with Infamous, Infamous 2, Infamous: Festival of Blood, Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune and Uncharted 2: Among Thieves will also be offered for $200.
