Gaming garb heads to Debenhams

A collection of games-inspired clothing makes its way to Debenhams stores next month.

The new line of Joystick Junkies t-shirts – dubbed ‘Discotronic’ – have been produced with electronic music artists such as Calvin Harris and Deadmau5. They have an RRP of 25.

This range is the result of a deal between the clothing firm and record label giant EMI. It is also available from Joystick Junkies’ web stores as well as UK clothing retailer Pulp.

Joystick Junkies told MCV that 30,000 units have already been sold to US fashion store Hot Topic.

The US market will be a big focus for the business this year,” Joystick Junkies creative director Chris Birch told MCV.

We are licensing the brand to partners who can help us grow in new markets.”
