Gears of War 3 gets Season Pass

Microsoft is to sell an online content deal called Season Pass for Gears of War 3.

It will cost 2400 Microsoft Points (around 20.50) and will entitle you to all four DLC packs that Epic has said it will release in the 12 months following the game’s release.

That represents a 33 per cent saving on the cost of downloading the DLC individually. Those with an eye for numbers will have already figured out that this suggests an 800 MSP for each of the four DLC releases.

MS is also chucking in an exclusive Liquid Metal Weapon set for those who buy the Season Pass.

The Season Pass will be available from September 20th, the same day that Gears of War 3 is released worldwide. The first DLC will be released in November.
