GEICO renews ELEAGUE sponsorship

American insurance company GEICO has renewed its sponsorship of ELEAGUE, after a successful first year working together.

GEICO was one of the first non-endemic brands to sponsor Tuner’s eSports competitions, and was featured heavily during all of the different events that ELEAGUE ran over the past 12 months.

While there were reports at the turn of the year that some partners were not impressed with the viewing figures for the competition, it seems like GEICO was more than happy, as they have renewed the deal for a further 12 months. No financial terms were mentioned but reports from last year suggested a year’s sponsorship could set you back $2 million.
