Gem auctions discounted stock to retailers

UK distribution Gem has launched a new promotion that gives retailers the chance to bid for cut-price games, consoles and accessories.

The deal is part of the company’s Mega Sale, which will see daily discounts offered to Gem’s retail clients, with products from Microsoft, Logitech, Mad Catz, Ubisoft, Square Enix and Plantronics up for grabs.

New deals will be added every day, and Gem will also be hosting a series of auctions for extra stock. These will allow retailers to compete against each other to bid for selected goods and Gem’s hero products.

Each auctioned item will also come with a ‘buy it now’ price if retailers prefer to just order the stock.

Gem will announce each day’s new deals through its Facebook group or via it’s Twitter account, @gemdistribution.
