Gfinity announces six new top appointments in shake-up

Esports company Gfinity has had a big shake-up at the top, with six new appointments after recently announcing it’s raised £6.2m in a big investment round.

Gfinity is appointing Bryan Healy as chief strategy officer, Justin Mier as chief marketing officer, Tarum Rose as chief operating officer, Amanda Lawson as head of global production, Tom Halls as head of strategic development and Jeff Early will be taking up the role of head of broadcast operation.

Jonathan Hall, who was previously managing the responsibilities of both COO and CFO will now serve only as CFO.

Neville Upton, Gfinity’s CEO, said: “These appointments further enhance our existing, highly professional and highly regarded eSports team as we continue to roll out the Elite Series in the UK and, over time, additional international markets. The new £6.2m of investment demonstrates eSports’ commercial and cultural potential and each of our new recruits bring with them highly relevant experience and we expect them to contribute greatly to the delivery of our objectives over the coming months. Gfinity has spent years dedicated to building the best eSports tournament designs and platforms in the world, and we are beginning to receive international recognition for it – that’s why we need the very best talent at our company which we have secured with these hires.”
