Ghostlight releasing Way of the Samurai 4 on PC

Former PS3 exclusive Way of the Samurai 4 is being ported to PC.

Ghostlight is bringing the Acquire developed oddity, which was released in Japan in early 2011 and in the West in late 2012, to Steam at some point in the future. It will be the first game on the series to be released on a non-console platform.

The series’ hook is that decisions made by the player affect the narrative, leading to different outcomes. It is designed to be played through multiple times, with progression carried over between each playthough.

This isn’t the first time we’ve stepped out of the RPG world but I think it’s fair to say that this title represents a bit of a departure for us here at Ghostlight,” the publisher said.

While we’ve always worked hard to bring Japanese games over to our shores, we’ve mainly focused on JRPGs so this will be the first big Japanese action game we’ve ever worked on.”
