GMG will refund Batman Arkham Knight if patch fails to fix it

Retailer Green Man Gaming has said that it will give PC gamers their money back if Batman Arkham Knight isn’t fixed.

The game has taken considerable flack for a string of technical issues on PC that so far remain unresolved, resulting in a user review backlash on Steam and a string of negative press coverage.

Some gamers have reportedly successfully claimed a refund from Steam, but those who bought through other vendors may not have this option. GMG customers, however, look like they will.

We’re aware that a number of users have been having issues with the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight, and we’re talking to Warner Bros who are resolved to address these concerns,” the retailer said.

Warner Bros are currently working on a patch which we are hoping will be released soon. We want you to enjoy your game, but if after the fix has been released, you still cannot play your game, we will process refund requests for the game.”

Neither Warner, Rocksteady or Iron Galaxy (who ported the game to PC) have yet outlined a timetable for patching the game, or detailed specifically which problems it recognises and intends to tackle.
