Goat Simulator gets PC release date

Coffee Stain Studios’ deliciously bizarre Goat Simulator has now got a release date.

The game will be released on April 1st – and yes, we realise that’s April Fools’ Day.

The PC-only game will offer Steam Workshop support so players can make their own goats, missions, levels and more” although there won’t be any multiplayer provisions.

Goat Simulator was originally created as part of a game jam, with the developer describing it as nothing more than it playing around a bit with programming stuff”, adding that this is not our next big IP – calm yourselves journalists”.

That all changed, however, when Coffee Stain conceded to the hype, saying: Okay internet you win. It looks like Goat Simulator is our next IP.”
