Google reveals a few more Daydream VR titles

New VR contender Google Daydream has revealed an additional seven apps heading the service’s way.

Heading up the list is CCP’s EVE Gunjack 2: End of Shift. Exclusive to Google’s headset, the space shooter differs from Valkyrie in that players are sat in a comparatively stationary pod and not freely flying about in a ship. Be prepared for the game’s 12.99 UK price, however.

Also confirmed is EA’s Need for Speed: No Limits, which will be released next week. The game looks pretty faithful to other mobile Need for Speeds, albeit with added VR-ness. Out now is free download LEGO Brickheadz, which allows use to, well, play with LEGO.

Other announcements include magic batter Wands, horror title Layers of Fear and strategy outing Underworld Overlord.

Don’t forget too that Mike Bithell recently released Daydream exclusive EarthShape on the platform. Featuring the voice of Bake Off’s Sue Perkins, the gentle outing sees players draw lines to direct balls around puzzle grids, all of which is set to a cartoon space faring backdrop.

Google also recently released two additional colour variants of the Daydream headset.
