Grand Theft Auto V snatches a win in the weekly charts, with strong showings from TT Isle of Man and Bravo Team

Another quiet week at retail, with a couple of new entries in the Top Ten, and Grand Theft Auto V taking its 15th number one in 234 weeks in the UK boxed chart.

It was a photo finish with new entry TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge, which had to take second place on the winners podium with just a narrow margin. Despite the slow month, it’s an impressive performance for Big Ben Interactive’s motorbike-’em-up, and nothing to be sniffed at.

Equally surprising is Sony’s new VR title Bravo Team which took third with some very respectable sales despite a critical grilling which has seen it holding a Metacritic of 46 per cent.

Battlegrounds continues to evade the circle, holding onto 8 despite selling physically for only the Xbox One platform.

From there, it’s all pretty standard fare throughout the Top Ten. Other new entries include Life Is Strange: Before The Storm at number 18, while Final Fantasy XV: Royal Edition sneaks in to the charts at 31.

Slightly later than usual, here’s the top 10 for the week ending 10 March. (data courtesy of GfK/Ukie):
