Grandia II HD remaster heading to Steam

Puzzles & Dragons developer GungHo Entertainment is bringing GameArts classic RPG Grandia II to Steam.

Kotakureports GungHo will give Grandia II the HD remaster treatment, though there’s no mention of a release window as of yet and no word if any Steam features such as achievements will be part of the package.

GungHo selected the title based on a survey for fans to voice their opinion on what game should receive the upgraded release.

Grandia II originally debuted in Japan nearly 15 years ago on Dreamcast, with North American and European releases following shortly after. It launched on PlayStation 2 in early 2002 and arrived later that year on Windows PC as well. A Japan-exclusive re-release of the PS2 edition of the game is also available via PlayStation Network.
