GTA IV to smash Halo 3 sales

has suggested that industry analysts and ‘sources close to Take Two’ are expecting the new much-hyped game will eclipse Halo 3’s $300m in first week sales. It could also topple the $404m raked in by the most recent Pirates of the Caribbean movie At World’s End within its first six days at the box office.

UK retailers have already been struggling with the huge demand for the title, and that’s before Sony confirms its expected GTA IV PS3 hardware bundle.
