Guitar Hero 5 will be released in the UK on September 11th.

The game will be available as software only or bundled with a guitar controller. It will be released for Xbox 360, PS3, Wii and PS2.

Activision Blizzard revealed the release date for its highly anticipated follow-up to Guitar Hero: World Tour in its latest release schedule.

The game is set to compete head-to-head with EA’s The Beatles: Rock Band, which arrives two days earlier on September 9th.
