Guitar Hero staff hunt begins

Activision is massively expanding its Guitar Hero team as the franchise continues to grow rapidly throughout the UK and Europe.

The firm has a wide portfolio of new Guitar Hero SKUs on the way and is pushing the brand across as many different territories as possible.

As result, it is now looking to hire new staff in a variety of roles. We’re confident this year’s releases such as Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, Guitar Hero: On Tour and Guitar Hero: World Tour will guarantee even bigger successes for Europe,” head of human resources at Activision Orla Byrne told MCV.

Red Octane is a major part of the entire Activision business and we feel strongly that it requires an expanded and customised European marketing division to really deliver our long-term goals.”

Positions available include public relations, brand management, commercial retail management, music licensing, sales planning and analysis and production planning.

These roles span our key European territories of UK, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Nordics Sweden, Benelux and European HQ based at Stockley Park,” added Byrne.
