Hackers attempt Apple dev site breach

Apple’s developer centre is currently offline and a message warns visitors that an attempt was made to access secure personal information of registered developers.

A Turkish security researcher now claims that he was responsible for the violation, which he claims has exposed flaws in Apple’s system.

Last Thursday [July 18th], an intruder attempted to secure personal information of our registered developers from our developer website,” read Apple’s message on theofficial website.

"Sensitive personal information was encrypted and cannot be accessed, however, we have not been able to rule out the possibility that some developers’ names, mailing addresses, and/or email addresses may have been accessed."
