Halo 3 Legendary Edition already sold out

Microsoft has confirmed to

that all of the UK pre-orders for the Legendary Edition of Halo 3 have already been snapped up.

The package includes the game, two bonus DVDs – featuring documentaries and remastered cinematic scenes from Halo and Halo 2 – a collection of Halo 3 storyboard art and a Halo 3 Spartan helmet.

Halo 3 is released on September 25th in North America, following a day later in the UK.

Microsoft’s UK team last week told MCV that it had amassed a 4 million marketing warchest to promote the title.
