Harmonix hiring for next-gen title

A handful of job listings for Rock Band dev Harmonix reveal the company is working on a motion-controlled title for next-gen consoles.

According to the listings, the brand new IP aims to be a motion-based music game with combat and ‘emotionally compelling storylines.’

Currently the developer is seeking a Software Engineer, Narrative Desinger, Senior Content Designer, and Senior Level Designer, reports Superannuation over a series of tweets.

No confirmation on this yet; and without any next-gen consoles currently announced, don’t expect any official word for a while. Harmonix is still working on downloadable title Rock Band Blitz as well, which is due out for PSN and Xbox Live Arcade later this year.
