Hearthstone’s Grand Tournament arrives next week

What will probably be the most transformative update yet for Blizzard’s Hearthstone finally has a release date.

The Grand Tournament’s 132 cards will be available to buy and play next week, on August 24th. This will also be the day that those who pre-ordered the 50 Pack bundle will finally be able to access their wares.

The Grand Tournament not only introduces dozens of new cards, but also two game-altering new mechanics – Inspire and Jousting.

The release date will be ever so slightly later in Asia, where the expansion will land on August 25th.

There will be an opportunity for players to get their hands on the cards beforehand, however. This weeks’ Tavern Brawl, which goes live today, sees players face off with Jousting and Inspire themed packs.
