Here’s what you get for upgrading to GTA V on PS4, Xbox One and PC

Rockstar has outlined the extras that will be offered to those who port their Grand Theft Auto Online progress from PS3 and Xbox 360 to the upcoming next-gen version.

The headline extra is the Murder Mystery story mode addition, starring Michael, which upon completion rewards players with two Noir filters for their in-game camera.

There are also two new weapons, the Rail Gun and Hatchet, as well as a Wildlife Photography Challenge that enables players to unlock the Kraken submarine. Stock Car racing is also available as well as a Monkey Mosaic photography challenge and two new vehicles – the Cheval Marshall monster truck and Xero Gas blimp.

Available to all will be a fleet of classic GTA vehicles”.

Any bonus content from the original games, such as pre-order items, will carry over to all three of the new versions, while those who didn’t grab the content first time around will now have the chance to buy via in-game cash.

Users will only be able to transfer their characters once, but will be able to resume playing their profiles on PS3 and Xbox 360 should they choose although progress will not be shared with the upgraded SKU.

Grand Theft Auto V will be released on PS4 and Xbox One on November 18th and on PC on January 27th.
