Hestia Talent Partners, Green Man Gaming and Code Wizards are going to sponsor this year’s MCV/DEVELOP Women in Games Awards, which will be held at the America Square Conference Centre in London next month.
Hestia Talent Partners will sponsor the In-House HR and Recruitment Impact Award, Code Wizards will sponsor the Career Mentor Award, and Green Man Gaming will sponsor the Rising Star Award.
“There are so many woman that are pivotal to the success within our industry,” said Emma Smith, Founder at Hestia Talent Partners. “Often HR and Recruitment teams are the quiet force for good in the background that enable the most incredible teams to make outstanding games. To be able to help shine a spotlight on these inspirational women and celebrate their achievements is an absolute honour.”
“The Career Mentor Award goes beyond celebrating professional achievements. It honours those who selflessly give their time to support and uplift others entering the Games Industry. It recognises the kindness, generosity, and personal commitment of individuals who inspire the next generation,” added Code Wizards’ CEO and Founder Stuart Muckley.
“A mentor’s primary purpose is to guide and support a less experienced individual (the mentee) in their personal and professional development. This involves providing advice, sharing experiences, and offering encouragement to help the mentee grow and reach their full potential. Mentors also help mentees build confidence, develop skills, and navigate challenges.
“At Code Wizards, the ethos of ‘giving back’ deeply resonates with us. We believe respect and kindness aren’t optional extras, but a fundamental responsibility we all share as human beings. We’re proud to show our continued support for Women In Games by sponsoring the Career Mentor Award in 2025.”
“The Women in Games Awards is a fantastic platform to recognise the achievements of women across all areas of games, and we’re proud to sponsor the Rising Star Award this year,” said a representative from Green Man Gaming.
“This category in particular resonates with us. It’s about championing emerging talent, giving recognition early, and encouraging the next generation to thrive. We want to play our part in building a more inclusive, diverse, and innovative games industry, and this is a meaningful way to contribute to that vision.”
