HMV signs up to Eurogamer Expo

This year’s Eurogamer Expo will once again welcome entertainment chain HMV as a key sponsor and retail partner for the upcoming event, scheduled to take place at Earls Court between October 1st and October 3rd.

As well as sampling a number of the year’s biggest upcoming titles, the new tie-up means gamers will also get the chance to buy games at the event.

The last two years have been a sell-out smash,” Eurogamer MD Rupert Loman said. With plans for 2010 well underway and talks of 2011 set to begin, we’re thrilled to be entering a longer-term partnership with HMV.

The Eurogamer formula of giving gamers what they want is a winner for consumers and the industry alike – it’s about playing great games in a great venue at a great price.”

HMV’s head of games Tim Ellis added: We’re delighted to be supporting the Eurogamer Expo once again. It’s a fantastic event for HMV and the committed gaming enthusiast.”

Potential sponsors and exhibitors should contact David Lilley on +44 (0)7779 224 138 or via email.
